What our kids think
"I like going to Youth Club because it is a place where I can "let loose" and not worry about being judged. I also enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. There are a few rules but not intensly "shutting" you down, the volunteers are great and are very kind and helpful."

"I realy enjoy Youth Club because you can make so many friends and enjoy a variety of activities. Everyone is so welcoming and the staff are extremely helpful. I would hugely recommend joining us."
Ashley age 18 years
Diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome
" Youth Club is a place where I feel safe. I am not scared about being bullied by other kids who do not understand about Autism.
It is also a good place to make friends and have fun, it is the best night of the week."
Ben age 17 years
Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder / Condition
" I believe that the key to this youthclub's success is that I can socially communicate with people with similar disabilities. This allows me to compare the way I handle my Autism to the way other people do.What I enjoy most about this Youth Club is that I can participate in social activities that prepare me for when i am around non Autistic people. To put it simply this youthclub has been a tremendous opportunity for me."
Ben aged 16 years

" I have enjoyed coming to this Youth Club because it has allowed me to communicate with people with Autism. It has also allowed me to talk to people about certain problems. I enjoy the outings they do in the summer."
Laura aged 19 years

" Ever since I started this Youth Club I have never been so happy to go anywhere on a Friday night. I have made so many amazing friends since week 1, every week I have some really great nights. Its great to meet people who understand the "language" of Autism/ASD
