My name is Judy and my 17 year old son (who was diagnosed with AS at 12) is called Ashley.

We go to youth club every Friday and it is a godsend for both of us.
Ashley meets with his friends and can relax and be himself without people staring or judging him.
Equally I meet my friends too and we can discuss our week and have a coffee in a friendly atmosphere.

My name is John, and I have a 16 year old son called Ben.
Ben is Autistic, and as a result he struggles to make friends and to cope in social situations. His mannerisms can be difficult for people to understand and they are exacerbated by stress. Five years ago Ben joined a youth club for autistic children and the benefits have been significant. For the first time he has been able to develop proper friendships and his social skills and confidence have greatly improved.
This youth club was soon to be closing so a group of us parents who know and understand the benefits the Youth Club offers their children, have decided to start up AllsortZ Youth Club to continue to offer some support and enjoyment for autistic children in our area.

Hi we are Emma & Simon our son Jacob is 15yrs old, he is on the Autism Spectrum with a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome he also has ADHD. He was diagnosed with ADHD at 4yrs old and with AS at 8yrs old. We attend youthclub because Jacob can simply be himself without anyone judging him or taking the micky out of him, also the parents have the opportunity to meet away from the children to relax (if that's possible) and have a coffee and a chat if they so wish.
